Concert by Maghull Wind Orchestra

On Thursday 16th May we had a fabulous concert by Maghull Wind Orchestra.  What fantastic local talent we have here in and around Maghull.  There were 61 musicians conducted by Phil Shotton.

The audience were entertained with a selection of music from Wicked, Pirates of the Caribbean, Les Miserables, Holst; Lion King plus others and we heard some fun arrangements of Thomas the Tank Engine and The Locomotion.

The aim of Maghull Wind Orchestra is to provide a high quality enjoyable musical experience for all woodwind, brass and percussion musicians within the community regardless of age, ability or standard with professional level directorship and without audition or fee.

They rehearse every Tuesday evening 7:30-9:15pm at Maghull Town Hall, Hall Lane, Maghull, L31 7BB
